Kevin

Kevin, formerly a junior squash international graduated from Sport Science and Health in DCU (2005) and worked with Tennis Ireland for a 6 year period as head strength and conditioning coach. Alongside his work in tennis, he also worked with Olympic athletes and national basketball champions. Kevin qualified as a Level 1 Padel Coach from the Madrid Padel Federation in 2014.  Kevin has lectured in the areas motor skill development, coaching and exercise science in DCU, UCD and TUD. Previously and has delivered physical training aspects of the level one two and 3 tennis coaching courses. Kevin is finishing up his PhD in the area of teenagers, fitness and cardiovascular health.

Kevin has represented Ireland at O-40 level at the European Padel Championships and O-35 level at the World Padel Championships. 

Kevin's main goals when teaching padel are to focus on the fundamentals. Developing strong technical fundamentals early on will allow players a much wider variety of shot choice, only leading to tactically more aware players.

Pete

 



Pete has over thirty years tennis coaching experience from red ball to International level players. He is a Level 1 Padel Federation of Ireland coach and also a Tennis Ireland Level 4 ABD. Pete has vast amount of experience as a former Davis cup player himself and team captain. Pete also served many years as the Billie Jean King Cup Captain for Ireland, joining the short list of coaches to captain both men and womens Irish National Teams. 

Pete discovered padel around 7/8 years ago and has had excellent success on the padel court. In 2023 he became the O-60 European Champion and has represented Irealnd at numerous Six Nation events, European Championships and most recently the World Padel Championships.
